Andžs Ūbelis is an expert on public financial management with more than 15 years of experience working for government institutions of the Republic of Latvia and international financial institutions. Andžs Ūbelis is Director at KPMG, Management and risks consultations. He has previously worked at the Ministry of Finance as the Deputy State Secretary on matters of foreign financial aid and fiscal policy. He has also worked at the World Bank as Advisor and Senior Advisor to the Executive Director representing Nordic and Baltic countries.
Andžs Ūbelis holds an undergraduate degree in political science and international relations (University of Latvia), as well as master's degrees in European law and policy (University of Nancy 2, France) and international economics and public policies (Cardiff University, UK).
