Ingars Erins is Vice-rector for finance, professor and principal researcher at Riga Technical University. He has held management positions in Riga Technical University at the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management and at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, as well as in other establishments.
Ingars Erins has a scientific degree of doctor in economics from Riga Technical University. He is the author of numerous publications in the field of finance and banking management. Ingars was a member of the Human Capital Development Facilitation working group at the Strategic Analysis Commission in 2012, a think tank under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Latvia. Ingars Erins was a member of the Fiscal Discipline Council in period from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2019.
